Information on the Junior Dancers

The Concordia Junior Alpensrose Dancers were founded by two families looking for a way to celebrate their German Heritage in a special and relaxed atmosphere.  Our goal has always bee to provide an affordable option for families interested in a dance activity.

We focus on:

• Having fun & building friendships within our group of Dancers & Parents
• Learning more about German Culture as we dance
• Having a greater appreciation of other cultures, as we participate in Multi-Cultural Events
• Giving back to our community by performing for groups at Seniors' Homes & other Community Groups  

We have performed at a variety of events such as Folkfest, Christkindlmarkt, Heritage Festival, and Canada Day. We also perform for seniors in Church Groups and Care Homes.  We currently have children and teens, ages 3 -18, who practice with us weekly on Tuesday evenings, September to May.
